Snake Plant, Laurentii

Snake Plant
Sansevieria laurentii

One of the most popular and hardy of houseplants, it's virtually indestructible and adaptable to almost any condition. Whether you throw full, direct sunlight at it or shove it in the low-light corner of your apartment, it'll grow. And to top it off, it'll go weeks without water if he has to. Can anyone say vacation?

Sunlight:Low to bright, indirect light and even some direct sun.

Water:Once every 2-3 weeks and likes to dry out completely.

Pets:Toxic to pets. Sorry Mittens.

Size:About 20" tall and a pot size of 6".

Travel:Month-long meditation trip? Count this one in.

Pro-tip: Its roots may rot if you shower it with too much love. Make sure its soil is dry before watering again.
